• WP1 - Project Management

  Judaica Europeana WP1 manages the project to deliver the solutions developed in the Work Packages on time and maintain cost and quality according to the requirements.

• WP2 - Content selection, metadata aligment, knowledge management

  The objectives of Judaica Europeana WP2 is to provide Europeana content on Jews in European Cities; to align the metadata for this content to the Europeana metadata requirements; to implement controlled vocabularies for indexing and retrieval of content and the semantic interoperability requirements of Europeana; to adequate the metadata and semantic interoperability for knowledge management of communities of practice of scholars and professionals of cultural heritage.

• WP3 - Digitisation, metadata entry, API and Web

  WP3 of Judaica Europeana will put in place the technical tools and provide support for the partners. It includes (1) the digitisation process (2) content enrichment facilities (3) advanced Web management facilities (4) semantic interoperability (5) installation and support of an open source knowledge management package.

• WP4 - Awareness and Dissemination

  The purpose of this WP is to raise awareness and promote the results of the project among different constitutencies across Europe. To motivate scholars, cultural heritage professionals, teachers and students to make use of JUDAICA contents and facilities. To promote JUDAICA and Europeana to a wider group of content owners; secure support of additional Associate Partners to contribute additional assets to the project.

• WP5 - Assessment and Evaluation

  
  

  WP5 will carry out a comprehensive evaluation of the project. It will seek to document how the addition of the Judaica Europeana thematic content may improve the discovery, delivery, integration of CH resources for European, multilingual, multilingual use.
